Group

The research group was established in 2010. The Principal investigator (PI) of the research team is Prof. Feng Bai. Our research is focused on the nanomaterials based on controllable self-assembly of porphyrin and their application in new energy sources, optoelectronics, biology, etc. areas under the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

After several years’ construction, our group has four young teachers, five doctoral students and 19 master students, and owns a series of instruments and equipment used in the related field of electrocatalysis and photocatalysis, such as electrochemical workstation, four photocatalytic hydrogen production systems, thermostatic reaction chamber, ultrahigh speed centrifuge, glove box, disc rotating electrode, ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrometer and fluorescence spectrometer.

Our research group has published 41 academic papers in famous international SCI academic journals, such as ACS Nano, Adv. Mater., Nano Letters and so on, which have been cited for more than 1000 times，and has applied for 9 domestic patents and 1 international patent. In addition, our group has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects, including Outstanding Youth Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science Foundation for Young Scientists of China, and the Henan University Yellow River Scholars' Startup Fund.
