Zuliang Du was born in July 1966.Currently, Prof. Duis the Deputy Director of Administration of Key Laboratory of Special Function Materials of Ministry of Education (MOE).He has many titles, includingtheLeader of Innovation Team of “Yangtze River Scholars and Innovation Team Development Plan” of MOE,deputy director of professional committee of China ordered molecular membrane, New Century Excellent Talents of MOE, the expert enjoying government special allowances, outstanding expert of Henan Province, the distinguished professor of Henan Province, the leader of cross-century academic and technology in Henan Province.He has successively undertakenmore than 10 national-level scientific research projects,including State Key Basic Research "973" Plan of China, Major Nano Research Plan of National Natural Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Cultivation Fund of the Key Scientific and Technical Innovation Project of MOE. Moreover, he also gainedmore than 10provincial-levelprojects, encompassingInnovating Talent Fund, and Outstanding Youth Cultivation Talent Fund of Henan Province. He has scored many important achievements of 2 awards of second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Henan province (natural science), 200 SCI publications, 2 books (chapters), 7authenticated resultsand 24 invention patents (14 authorized).He mainly focused on high-performance photovoltaic nanostructure materials and devices,and a systematic study of the fabrication, assembly, device construction and photoelectric properties of nanostructured materials. Concretely, it includes several aspects:Combining molecular assembly (chemical method) and nano-imprint technology (physical method),to establisha unique nano-structured material construction technology and realized a large-area, low-cost preparation of nanostructures;Establish three research platforms with their own characteristics to achieve the photoelectric measurements in micro-nano area; Firstly create a new method for the synthesis of bionic biomimetic materials internationally; Built the surface barrier physical model of controllable surface state of low-dimensional semiconductor nanostructures, and develop the photoelectric nanodevices based on the surface schottky barrier; Discover and clarify the photoelectric enhancement of the ordered micro/nano structures, to open up a new approach for the development of high-efficiency thin-film solar cells and quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs).
